Post 5 Summary: Hip Hop

I like hip hop dance. It's my favorite kind of dance, so I felt happy that I got to pick it for my Personal Quest. Researching hip hop made me think of lots of different things.

For example, people all over the world do Hip Hop. Although some of the dances are different they are all special in their own creative ways. The style of hip hop dances is different, because in countries like Africa, the U.S. and Brazil, there are very different cultures. This makes the style of hip-hop have lots of variations. There is African music, there is Latin music and each one is special, so that the Hip Hop moves are unique too.

I also learned about different dance steps. There are many kinds of Hip Hop moves that are famous, like the "Moon Walk", the "Can Opener" and many more as well. These moves came from all different parts of the world.

Now, to share what I thought about doing my personal quest. First, in the library when we looked on Ebsco it didn't show anything and there were no books on hip-hop. I felt like I had to pick something that was on information websites that we do in school, but I couldn't find anything. That was annoying! I did most of my research just on random websites that I looked up hip-hop on.
